We collect nothing. WritersDesk has no accounts and no analytics, telemetry or tracking, and it never sends your books or personal information to us or anyone else.
Your books are saved only in the folder you choose on your computer. If that folder is synced by a cloud service such as OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox, that service handles syncing under its own policy. Settings, a crash-recovery copy of unsaved work and log files stay on your computer.
WritersDesk only uses the internet when you ask: to download the free EPUBCheck validator if you choose to, or to open a link in your browser. Purchases through the Microsoft Store are processed by Microsoft; we never see your payment details.
